Doin’ the Stray Cat Strut

After my last post,  “Wes Feels Like a Hep-Cat”, one of my adopted family was reminded of the 1982 hit Stray Cat Strut. Hepcat somehow reminded her of stray cat, which made her think of me, because I’ve got cat class and I’ve got cat style.

Anyways, she started playing Stray Cat Strut really loud. She said that it reminded her of the big kids and the early days of MTV. For a period of time the big kids had played Stray Cat Strut relentlessly, or so it seemed. She said she missed those days. She went on to say that she wasn’t sure if MTV even existed anymore because you can hear all the music you want on Youtube. She said the original VJ’s would be middle aged now.

MEOW!! Like I care!

Stray Cat Strut is a cool tune, but I’m a mellow fella and prefer listening to the mood music of Oliver Shanti.

Two of my adopted family got into Tai Chi this past summer and often play Tai Chi music in the mornings. It helps them to chill out.

I think I’ll take a nap.
