As Grandpa Davey once said, Montana knows the seasons better than a calendar. In Montana, the seasons change exactly when they are told. We’ve been having 40 degree temperatures all March, but today, the 20th , it is forecast to be 55 degrees. I would call that a good start to spring! For Montanans, 55 degrees is hot enough to wear shorts and flip-flops. I find it extremely disappointing, though, when it’s a warm t-shirt day and it turns into a cold rain shower. But as soon as summer comes, there is not a cloud in the sky. Well, we just found a crocus shoot growing in the garden. At least we know our cold, boring winter has come to an end!
