My dream of living in a small town came to fruition when I moved to Kalispell. It has grown and is part of the tri-city area including Whitefish and Columbia Falls, but the original neighborhood remains quaint. Although there are a few empty buildings, Main St. is still viable with unique shops, a soda fountain, and historic hotel. After rush hour and on weekends and holidays, the traffic eases and it gets pretty quiet. It’s fun to walk downtown and window shop or get a soda. I thought I’d share some pictures from downtown, Kalispell that were taken on a recent walk on Labor Day.
